Work Conditions
Pocketbook Strategies is a remote workplace and works with clients across the United States. PBS employees are expected to work at a location of your choosing, whether at home or elsewhere, that is conducive to performing one’s job responsibilities.
Typical working hours may vary depending on job responsibilities and outside commitments and obligations. Employees are expected to work Monday- Friday for a minimum of 4 hours each day during traditional business hours (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM) in Eastern Standard Time, regardless of the employee’s location.
In order to perform their assigned job responsibilities, PBS staff must be able to communicate with colleagues and clients via phone and internet, including conference and video calls, as well as written communication, such as Slack and email. Therefore, all employees at PBS must work in an environment with reliable internet access and phone service.
Travel Expectations
Although the majority of PBS work is conducted virtually, PBS employees will be expected to travel to in-person staff gatherings at least once a quarter (up to 4 times per calendar year). Organization-wide travel and in-person gatherings will account for appropriate safety precautions re: COVID-19 and other health or safety concerns.
